    Since 1908 Cozumel celebrate the Carnival every year. It is the oldest traditional festival on record. It involves people of all ages, Mexican and tourist as part of a party full of color, joy, magic, music and fun. It takes place in February.

    The equinox is the time of year when the sun passes over the equator; the same plane as Ecuador, because of this the sun shines with equal intensity over the two hemispheres. This phenomenon occurs twice a year, once in spring and once in autumn. The next equinox will occur on March 21st. One of the most interesting places to experience it is in Chichen Itza, located in Yucatan, Mexico.
